A little sports shooting

Went out to my cousin’s hockey game tonight, and remembered all the reasons that shooting hockey is a pain. I ended up needing to use ISO 1600, shoot through Plexiglass, and use a shutter speed of 1/200 sec with focal lengths of 150-300mm. All in all, not ideal conditions, so the pictures are kind of soft.

And, things are happening so fast that it’s hard to actually compose a shot; it’s a lot of pointing, clicking, and hoping. I got about 35 keepers out of ~120 shots.
